Sorry for the lack of updates the internet is harder to access than i thought ...
month 2 and so on
The second month in Yellowstone has gone by even quicker than the first. The weather is finally starting to heat up fingers crossed we don't get snow in July. Lots of interesting things have happened. My family came to visit from Salt Lake City Utah it was so good to see them. Trina (my roommate) and i had a couple exhausting days trying to keep up with the crew. We went to Canyon (another location within the park) and saw the huge canyon with a 300 foot waterfall flowing into it it was so pretty! I also saw the various geysers around the park such a norris geyser basin ect. Also went Old Faithful once again but it was so crowded it made me very happy I work at Mammoth away from the majority of the tourists. The same weekend also happened to be the annual rodeo in Gardiner (about five miles down the road) it was an interesting to see to say the least. Firstly it was pouring down with rain so it made the area so wet and muddy! There were lots of events I couldn't watch the calf roping though it was horrible I couldnt stand the calfes screaming! My favourites were the bull ridding and the calf scramble, which involved all the young kids chasing after ribbons on calves tails and got 10 for a ribbon.

The first month
Its hard to believe I have been in Yellowstone just over a month its gone by so quickly!
I'm finally getting used to things around here
How quickly the weather changes day to day and week to week
The weather is finally getting nice fingers crossed that the snow has stopped for awhile.
That bison and elk are everywhere! they usually like to eat the grass right outside of the dinning room or work so i have to either wait for them to finish eating or change my course
Wolfs, bears and moose are harder to spot but i have gone a few wildlife watches and seen them too. Although once i did see a grizzly walking to work which, was pretty cool.
The late work hours as I work in the employee pub i don't finish work until about 230 if I'm working the kitchen of the pub I finish around 12. It was scary at first cooking all the food orders but now i quite enjoy it.
How little the community is- word about everything travels quickly about everything
The altitude I defiantly feel it when I'm going hikes or working out (which for the record barley happens. But when I do go on hikes the views are amazing not to mention the cool animals you see
Last week i went white water rafting which def was my favourite thing i have done so far and i plan to do it lots more. I even jumped in the river for a minute it was so cold!

Ynp!
The first week at yellowstone has been crazy but so much fun
The good
Meeting people from all over the Us
My room mate Trina who is from the Oc and we get on really well she works in the pub with me
How pretty everything is and the animals
How good the bison steak was mmmm
Seeing Old Faithful blow
The local pub The Blue Goose
My Job its pretty laid back so far
The bad
The snow and cold
The training is much more detailed and demanding than expected
The noise and living with all the people sometimes makes it hard to sleep
Finding a computer and the dodgy internet connection, its slow when everyone is using it
I will write more later when I have time and once things slow down

Aloha
After leaving Perth Australia and 22 hours later I have finally arrived in Kauai Hawaii.
The Good
Getting two Easters due to crossing the internatinal dateline
Tagging along with dad to the first class Quantas loungue .. the food was amazing
Sleeping most the the flight from Sydney to Honolulu
Surfing in Hawaii, although yesterday the waves were massive and it was a mission getting out into the surf
Eating luau food on the second easter in Kauai
The bad
The long flight and the babies crying nonstop on a 10 hour flight did not help
The bruises adn rashes on my knees because of surfing
The feral chickens and roosters on the island they look cute but the roosters start crowing at ungodly hours of the morning and do not stop, which makes it hard even for me to sleep
The jetlag and having no idea what the time or day is
I have a few days left in Hawaii and then Salt Lake City
