Yellowstone Round 2

So after a few delays I have finally made it to Lake! But I'll start from the beginning

The flight from Perth to Salt Lake City was fairly uneventful I even managed to get a fair bit of sleep. I was disapointed that I didn't get to watch enough movies but was happy to finally make it to Salt Lake City and it was very nice to catch up with the Sittlers. I didn't do anything too exciting the first couple days just a bit of shopping, cooking and relaxed. Things turned downhill quite quickly though I had a headache and felt a bit funny and woke up the next morning with a fever and upset stomach ... yep I somehow got gastro.
The next few days were a blur and I didn't leave my bed and luckily I was able to stay in Salt Lake City (SLC) for a dew extra days and get better rather than travel and start work in Yellowstone. A few days of bed rest and I was ready to go. I traveled standby from SLC to Bozeman which was an interesting experience and after spending most of the day in the airport I don't think I'll be trying it again anytime soon. But it was great to finally land in Bozeman and went straight to Gardiner (which, is just outside the park). A lot of people I worked with in 09 are still around so we all caught up for drinks at the Goose and was overall a tame night for my birthday and the Goose.
The next day I checked in and headed to Lake. Getting to Lake was a shock! I was expecting some snow but not this much.. The Lake is frozen, there is snow everywhere and it's still snowing and the weight of the snow has caused many roofs to collapse including the rec centre and a dorm. Its the most snow the park has seen in 25 years but I hope it melts soon so I can get out and do more stuff.
My roomate is really nice although we have'nt hung out too much because we have different schedules shes more day and I work more at night. Her name is Jessica and shes 23 from central Florida. Training was a bit same old but shakedown was good I got a Bison sirloin and mashed potatoes, which was amazing.
The pub is good it's so much bigger and busier than the Mammoth pub which makes work more fun. The pubs also got permission to serve liquor in the pub ,which means I make more money in tips!
Well I'm off camping so I hope its not too cold
